As Vice President of Strategy and Business Development with ICOM Information & Communications L.P., a full-service provider of targeted list, data communication solutions and analytic services, Cathy is responsible for ensuring the right strategy and plans are in place to achieve the aggressive growth targets envisioned over the next few years. In this role, Cathy will be working closely to achieve synergies across the Alliance family of companies, in addition to seeking out opportunities both internal and external to ICOM.
Cathy is an acknowledged expert in direct marketing (specifically in the packaged goods industry); sales and client relationship management; and data and analytics.
Part of the original team, Cathy joined ICOM in 1989 and helped to grow the organization from infancy to the solid performing, growth oriented company we see today. Cathy began her career working to solidify the business in Canada before focusing her efforts on a successful US expansion. During this time, Cathy held leadership roles managing the sales and marketing organization. Cathy left ICOM in 2000 to pursue other opportunities, rejoining in 2005 as Vice President, Sales and Client Services for the CPG Division.
Prior to ICOM, Cathy had eleven years in the packaged goods industry specifically working for leaders such as Unilever, Kraft (General Foods) and Seagram Distiller. During her hiatus from ICOM, Cathy was Chief Marketing Officer for Intuit. Cathy’s ability to apply the discipline of the corporate world to an entrepreneurial environment provides her with a unique perspective as she helps to drive ICOM forward. Cathy holds an H.B.A in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business.
